CSA names PlayBet as master sponsor for 2026 football season
Centro Sportivo Alagoano (CSA) has confirmed a new commercial partnership that places betting operator PlayBet as the club’s master sponsor for the 2026 season. Under the agreement, PlayBet’s branding will take the main position on CSA’s match shirt, representing a significant commercial step for one of Alagoas’ most established football institutions.
The deal gives PlayBet a central role in CSA’s marketing and institutional activities, strengthening the bookmaker’s visibility within Brazilian football. For the club, securing a master sponsor is expected to support several strategic priorities, including fan engagement initiatives, commercial expansion and broader institutional development, while also providing greater financial stability.
PlayBet owner C4B Gaming Group described the partnership as an important marker in its growth strategy across Brazil’s sports sector. Group president Carlos Silva highlighted CSA’s heritage and loyal supporter base as key factors behind the agreement, aligning the club’s identity with the values the brand aims to promote.
CSA officials view the sponsorship as a positive step toward reinforcing the club’s competitive structure and deepening ties with supporters ahead of the 2026 campaign.
Alongside the announcement, PlayBet reiterated its focus on regulatory compliance and responsible gaming. The operator holds a licence under Ordinance SPA/MF No. 2007, issued in September 2025 and confirmed adherence to Brazil’s rules prohibiting underage gambling, misuse of social assistance funds and the portrayal of betting as a source of income rather than entertainment.
As betting sponsorships continue to expand across Brazilian football, the CSA–PlayBet agreement underscores the growing emphasis on governance, transparency and responsible gambling standards within such partnerships.
