iGaming AFRIKA Summit to Highlight Africa at ICE Barcelona
The iGaming AFRIKA Summit (iGA Summit), a specialised B2B forum focused on African gaming market intelligence, has confirmed its participation at ICE Barcelona 2026, the global gaming industry’s flagship exhibition. The Summit’s leadership team will attend the event from 19–21 January 2026 at Fira Barcelona Gran Via.
The move marks a strategic step in strengthening Africa’s visibility within the global gaming ecosystem, as regulatory frameworks across the continent mature and commercial opportunities accelerate. By establishing a presence at ICE Barcelona, the iGA Summit aims to position African markets firmly on the radar of international operators, suppliers and capital providers.
Jeremiah Maangi, Chief Executive Officer of iGaming AFRIKA, said ICE Barcelona plays a central role in shaping global industry priorities. He noted that meaningful representation at the event is essential for Africa to be recognised as a serious growth engine within the international gaming landscape. According to Maangi, direct engagement with global stakeholders is critical to building sustainable entry pathways into African jurisdictions.
During the three-day exhibition, the iGA Summit delegation will hold curated discussions with regulators, European technology providers and investment groups targeting high-growth emerging markets. These engagements are designed to build momentum for the inaugural iGaming AFRIKA Summit, scheduled to take place in Nairobi, Kenya, from 4–6 May 2026.
The Nairobi event is being positioned as a dedicated follow-on platform for companies seeking deeper, on-the-ground engagement with Africa’s regulated gaming markets, offering structured dialogue, policy insight and regional partnership opportunities.
