Kambi Becomes Official Sportsbook Partner to OLG

Kambi Group has officially assumed the role of sportsbook technology partner to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) after completing a novation agreement involving FDJ Gaming Solutions France. The transition confirms a long-term shift in responsibility for OLG’s sports betting operations across both retail outlets and digital platforms within Ontario’s regulated iGaming market.

The novation follows a 2025 announcement in which FDJ revealed that Kambi had been chosen to replace it as OLG’s sportsbook provider, subject to regulatory clearance and contractual conditions. With all requirements now fulfilled, Kambi has become fully responsible for supplying sportsbook services to OLG, with the Kambi-powered platform going live on 27 January.

OLG offers sports betting through its PROLINE retail network and the PROLINE+ online platform, with proceeds directed back into public services across Ontario. Kambi’s turnkey sportsbook solution now underpins these operations, supporting OLG’s multi-channel sports wagering offering within the province’s regulatory framework.

The agreement establishes Kambi as the core technology supplier for OLG’s sportsbook in the North American regulated market, while FDJ Gaming Solutions France exits its former operational role. The change reflects the ongoing reshaping of supplier relationships as lottery operators adapt their sports betting and iGaming strategies to meet evolving regulatory, technical and consumer demands.

Kambi Group Chief Executive Officer Werner Becher welcomed the completion of the transition, stating that the company is pleased to enter this next phase of its relationship with OLG and to support one of the world’s leading lottery operators. He noted that Kambi looks forward to applying its technology expertise to help OLG achieve sustainable growth while delivering a secure and engaging betting experience in Ontario.

OLG President and CEO Duncan Hannay said the lottery remains focused on providing a high-quality PROLINE sports betting experience. He added that partnering with Kambi brings proven product reliability and innovation, supporting OLG’s mission to generate returns for the people and communities of Ontario.
