OIG Gaming Brazil Delivers R$15m Social Aid in Piauí
OIG Gaming Brazil, which operates the 7GAMES, BETÃO, R7, and ICE brands, carried out one of the most extensive social assistance initiatives recorded in Piauí during 2025. Over the course of the year, the company distributed more than 291,000 food baskets, essential household goods, and supplies to charitable organisations across multiple municipalities. According to GP1, the total value of the donations surpassed R$15 million.
Led by entrepreneur Fernando Oliveira Lima, widely known as Fernandin OIG, the initiative focused on strengthening humanitarian relief and improving living conditions for vulnerable communities. In total, 291,488 basic food baskets were delivered, supporting an estimated one million people throughout the state. In addition to food assistance, the programme included the donation of 42,196 bed and bath linen kits to hospitals, shelters and social care institutions.
Broad Support for Social and Health Institutions
The donations were distributed to a wide range of organisations providing healthcare, social services, inclusion programmes and community support. Beneficiaries included Apae, Abrigo São Lucas, Lar de Maria, Abrigo Manain, the Association of the Blind, Fraternity Is the Path Institution, Project Make Someone Happy, Volunteers of Love, Sanctuary Our Lady of Peace, Instituto Preça, Project Love for Others, Fundação Mandacaru, Project Coloring Life and Solidarity in Action.
Religious and community-based groups also participated, including the Methodist Church, Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de Lourdes, Parroquia de la Inmaculada Concepción, and Parroquia de Sainte Thérèse of the Child Jesus. These contributions enabled continued support for families, elderly residents, people with disabilities and communities facing socioeconomic hardship.
Animal Welfare Included in the Initiative
OIG Gaming Brazil also extended its support to animal protection efforts. A total of 30 tonnes of pet food was donated to shelters and rescue groups caring for abandoned and rescued animals. Among the recipients were the Extension Project of the State University of Piauí (UESPI), the Piauí Association for the Protection and Love of Animals (Apipa), Lar do Nando, the Spreading Love Project, Casa Pet, and individual animal protectors Thanandra Sarapatinhas and Patrícia Sena.
These donations helped sustain rescue operations, veterinary treatment and shelter maintenance activities that rely heavily on volunteer engagement and donations.
Seasonal Campaigns Strengthened Community Engagement
In addition to year-round assistance, the company organised targeted solidarity actions tied to key calendar dates. During Easter, 1,000 chocolate eggs were distributed. Mother’s Day saw more than 1,000 gifts delivered, while Children’s Day initiatives resulted in 7,500 toys being given to families across various communities.
These efforts followed similar actions in 2024, when OIG Gaming Brazil donated 166,261 food baskets, 14,659 bedding and towel sets, and nine tonnes of pet food, representing more than R$9 million in social contributions.
Social Responsibility at the Core
Commenting on the programme, Fernando Oliveira Lima emphasised the importance of aligning business growth with community responsibility. He stated that the company’s journey demonstrates how commercial success can coexist with meaningful social engagement, reinforcing its longstanding ties to Piauí and commitment to remembering its roots.
The scale of OIG Gaming Brazil’s 2025 initiatives highlights how structured donation programmes, coordinated logistics and institutional partnerships can deliver tangible benefits across areas such as food security, healthcare support, social inclusion and animal welfare.
