Alea Returns as Gold Sponsor at SiGMA Africa

Alea will return to SiGMA Africa in Cape Town as a Gold Sponsor for the second consecutive year, underlining the strategic weight the African market holds within its global expansion plans.

With jurisdictions such as South Africa, Nigeria and Kenya advancing regulatory structures and operating within predominantly mobile-driven environments, demand for analytics-led and scalable technology continues to rise.

Alea’s delegation in Cape Town will include COO Ramon Glieneke and Head of PR & Communications Marit von Stedingk, supported by representatives from its business development, account management and partnerships divisions.

At Booth 065, the company will present live demonstrations of its Client Area, a centralised control hub built to give operators direct oversight of their operations. The interface enables partners to track performance metrics, oversee game portfolios and access real-time data, consolidating essential tools into a single operational environment.

On 3 March, Alea will back the official Sip & Safari Experience, an invitation-only C-suite event combining wine tastings in the Durbanville Wine Valley with a safari activity.

The following day, from 14:45 to 15:15 on the Conference Stage, Ramon Glieneke will participate in the panel discussion titled “Mobile-First Game Design for African Audiences.” The session will explore regional technical considerations, including data limitations and the growing influence of social and multiplayer mechanics.

Commenting on the company’s return, Glieneke noted that Africa has long been a priority market for Alea, highlighting the sector’s evolution from early-stage aggregation adoption to a more mature environment where operators increasingly require advanced infrastructure and localised tools to scale across multiple regions.

During the event week, Alea is also shortlisted for Best Workplace at the SiGMA Africa Awards, scheduled for 3 March.

As industry stakeholders convene in Cape Town, Alea aims to deepen partnerships and reinforce its footprint in a region that is gaining greater prominence within the global iGaming ecosystem.
