Codere Online Launches iOS Poker App in Mexico
Codere Online Luxembourg, S.A. has launched an iOS Poker application in Mexico as part of its broader strategy to expand multi-product igaming offerings in the country. The rollout builds on the operator’s existing poker operations and precedes the planned release of an Android Poker app and Bingo product.
Developed in partnership with Playtech, the app integrates with Playtech’s player-vs-player poker network, allowing Mexican players to access shared liquidity pools alongside users from multiple operators. This connectivity is designed to support larger tournament fields and a wider variety of cash games and formats.
Codere Online reported over 1,300 unique active monthly users across its poker vertical in Mexico, demonstrating demand ahead of the mobile launch. The iOS app provides access to cash tables, multi-table tournaments, Sit & Go games, fast-paced poker variants and incorporates the operator’s responsible gaming tools.
The launch represents a key milestone in Codere Online’s effort to build a broader igaming ecosystem in Mexico, positioning poker alongside its casino and sports betting offerings to strengthen its multi-vertical presence in regulated Latin American markets.
Alberto Telias, CMO of Codere Online, commented: “Launching the Poker app for iOS in Mexico is a key step in offering all major online gaming categories. Through Playtech, we provide users a premium, high-liquidity poker platform that enhances their experience.”
Ran Licht, Head of Product at Codere Online, added: “This release broadens our product offering and user experience across all gaming verticals. Playtech’s P2P network enables a rich Poker environment connected to a larger operator ecosystem, with more verticals coming soon.”
Playtech Chief Interactive Gaming Officer Marat Koss said: “We are proud to partner with Codere Online, bringing our P2P Poker network to Mexican players through the new iOS app, giving access to one of the most liquid and competitive poker networks in the industry.”
