Shuffle.com Reports Data Breach via Partner Fast Track
Online gaming platform Shuffle.com has notified users of a data breach following a security incident involving one of its key service partners, Fast Track. The breach, which affected Fast Track’s internal systems, exposed customer information belonging to Shuffle.com players.
User Data Exposed — But Passwords Remain Safe
According to an email sent to customers, an unauthorized actor gained access to Fast Track’s infrastructure and obtained user data, including names, email addresses, home addresses and betting or transaction history.
Shuffle.com emphasized that no account passwords, login credentials, or player funds were compromised, as these are not stored by Fast Track. The company has urged users to stay vigilant against potential phishing attempts and to enable two-factor authentication (2FA) as a precautionary measure.
Investigation and Containment
Fast Track has reportedly contained the breach and assured Shuffle.com that there is no ongoing threat to customer accounts. Shuffle.com stated that it continues to work closely with Fast Track to assess the root cause of the breach and evaluate any possible downstream impacts.
In a statement to users, Shuffle.com said:
“We remain deeply committed to protecting our community. While we are disappointed this incident occurred, we are taking every step to ensure the safety and security of our users.”
Growing Industry Concern Over Data Security
The incident highlights ongoing concerns about data protection in the online gambling industry, where operators frequently depend on third-party providers for services such as analytics, marketing and customer engagement. Experts warn that each additional data-sharing layer can increase vulnerability to cyber threats.
For now, Shuffle.com maintains that all accounts remain secure, but advises users to remain cautious and monitor communications closely for suspicious activity.
