Tecnet Asia Expands Technical Support Across Asia
Philippines-based gaming solutions provider Tecnet Asia Inc. is experiencing notable growth, fueled by an expansion of its technical support operations across key Asian markets. Founder and president Suat Sirin emphasized that the company’s performance has surpassed early forecasts, putting it on a steady course for continued development. Operating from its Clark headquarters, a major gaming and leisure hub northwest of Manila, Tecnet has become an essential partner for land-based operators across the region.
Regional Reach and Diversification
Tecnet’s services now extend beyond the Philippines to markets including Sri Lanka, Goa, Nepal and Vietnam. This diversification allows the company to navigate various regulatory environments, mitigating market fluctuations while securing a steady pipeline of projects and engagements.
Service-Centric Growth Strategy
Originally established in Singapore, Tecnet relocated to the Philippines in 2016 to capitalize on the country’s booming gaming sector. Sirin explained that technical support has emerged as the company’s primary revenue driver, overtaking equipment sales. By offering maintenance and expert technical assistance, Tecnet ensures long-term operator loyalty and recurring business, turning service into a strategic advantage.
Expanding Distribution Partnerships
Tecnet has strengthened its market position through key distribution deals. Mid-2023 saw the company become a distributor for Austrian gaming giant Novomatic AG in the Philippines, alongside Australian manufacturer Ainsworth Game Technology Ltd. Other partners include casino equipment producer APEX Pro Gaming, seating manufacturer Patir Casino Seating, and lock specialist Miwa Lock Co Ltd. In early 2025, Tecnet added NRT Technology Corp., a cash handling and transaction equipment specialist, further cementing its role in Manila’s integrated resorts. Service agreements with Casino Filipino venues operated by PAGCOR underscore Tecnet’s comprehensive market coverage.
Enhancing Infrastructure Across Asia
Outside the Philippines, Tecnet is upgrading casino infrastructure in other markets. Its Sri Lanka operations have supported over 60 gaming machines across three properties and modernized casino management systems. A highlight includes the installation of the MyACP casino management system at Bally’s Casino in Colombo, with additional deployments planned across emerging Asian markets, ensuring a strong project pipeline.
Sustaining Growth
Through strategic partnerships and a focus on technical support, Tecnet has established a resilient niche across Asia. From Manila to Colombo, the company’s commitment to service excellence reinforces its value proposition, positioning it to benefit from both new openings and upgrades in the region’s gaming landscape.
