Bet365 Becomes Official Betting Partner of WNBAs Chicago Sky

Bet365 has officially entered the WNBA arena through a multi-year partnership with the Chicago Sky, naming the global sportsbook brand as the team’s Official Sports Betting Partner. This marks bet365’s first-ever sponsorship deal with a WNBA team — a strategic move that reflects the rising interest in sport betting within women’s basketball.

Under the agreement, bet365 will receive prominent in-arena branding at the Sky’s home venue, Wintrust Arena, including placements behind the north-end basket and on the center pole pads of both hoops. The brand’s visibility will also extend across social media, broadcasts and digital promotions, ensuring deep integration into the team’s fan experience.

“Our partnership with the Chicago Sky has us floating on cloud nine and is the perfect opportunity for our expansion into the WNBA,” said a bet365 spokesperson. “We can’t wait to share our Never Ordinary betting experience with Sky fans.”

“We’re thrilled to partner with bet365 to align with a growing sports trend that brings new visibility to the WNBA and the Chicago Sky,” said Alex Teodosi, Vice President of Corporate Partnerships at the Sky. “We look forward to bringing great new sports betting opportunities to Sky fans, while always encouraging responsible betting and positivity towards our players.”

The deal also reinforces bet365’s growing U.S. presence, following similar partnerships in MLB, NBA and NHL. Globally, bet365 is already a major player, currently serving as the Official Sports Betting Partner of the UEFA Champions League.

The Chicago Sky, established in 2005 and crowned 2021 WNBA Champions, continue to grow their fan base and brand value as one of the league’s most notable franchises. The partnership highlights how women’s sports are becoming an increasingly attractive avenue for sportsbook sponsorships, creating opportunities for mutual growth, fan engagement and market expansion.
